			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Clough AMEC, the equal share joint venture between Clough Ltd and AMEC plc, has further  strengthened its management team with the announcement of two new key appointments in former Worley Parsons Country Manager for Malaysia Simon Taylor and Howard Priestley, former Vice President, Strategy &amp; Development for Transfield Services Canada. Simon will take over as General Manager for the joint venture while Howard has been appointed to the role of  Business Development Manager.</p>
<p>“These external appointments are an important milestone for Clough AMEC, and are a further confirmation that both parent companies are in full support of this service-oriented business”, commented Clough AMEC Board member, Andy Antoci.</p>
<p>Simon Taylor is a highly qualified engineering and management professional with over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry. He has worked for several blue chip companies, both operators and contractors. His employment with BP, Brunei Shell, KBR, Worley Parsons and Transfield has provided Simon with expertise in general management, engineering, maintenance and planning roles. Simon has previously worked in New Zealand, the UK, and several SE Asian and Middle Eastern countries.</p>
<p>Howard Priestley has 25 years global oil and gas experience that encompasses Exploration and Production, Projects and Operations. Originally employed as a down-hole directional surveyor for Sperry Sun and Smith International, Howard moved to business development mid-career working with industry leading organisations including Woodside Energy, IRC (risk consultants) and Transfield Services. Howard has worked extensively in North America and Europe and has served on a number of company boards including international legal firm HFI of Dubai, IRC and the Australian American Chamber of Commerce in Houston.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Engineering and construction company Clough Limited (ASX:CLO)  today announced that Clough AMEC, a 50/50 joint venture between Clough and  international engineering and project management company AMEC, has been awarded a new contract by Woodside Energy Ltd to provide offshore maintenance services for their Australian oil and gas assets, predominantly located on the North West Shelf off Western Australia.</p>
<p>Clough AMEC has provided asset support services to Woodside Energy for the last 5 years.   This new two-year contract includes two one-year extension options. Clough AMEC will provide maintenance services for the supply of offshore core crew and routine/campaign maintenance works on Woodside Energy’s key offshore oil and gas production assets. The offshore work will be managed and controlled from Clough AMEC’s Perth office with key interfaces with Woodside Energy’s Maintenance Group also located in Perth.</p>
<p>“After five years of delivering asset support services to Woodside, we are delighted to be continuing our relationship through this maintenance agreement” said John Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Clough.  “We look forward to helping Woodside optimise the life, profitability and safety of these important assets”.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Clough Limited (ASX:CLO) today announced that Clough AMEC has been awarded a new Contract by ConocoPhillips (03-12) Pty Ltd, as operator of the Bayu-Undan joint venture, to provide Operations and Maintenance Services to the Bayu-Undan facilities, located offshore in the Timor Sea in the area of joint development between Australia and Timor Leste.</p>
<p>Clough AMEC has provided operations and maintenance services to the Bayu-Undan facilities since July 2004. The new three year contract, which begins immediately, has an estimated value of AU$84 million with two options to extend a further two years each, totalling a possible seven year contract.</p>
<p>The facilities consist of a floating storage and offloading facility and three fixed platforms, a remote wellhead platform, and a compression, utilities and quarters platform, which is bridge-linked to a drilling, production and processing platform.</p>
<p>The services to be provided include implementation engineering, work package preparation, planning, hazard assessment, coordination, offshore field services and implementation. In addition, training and capability development in Timor Leste which is an important part of the contract, will build on the work Clough AMEC has already undertaken in the region.</p>
<p>“We are delighted that ConocoPhillips has awarded us this contract for a further three years for operations and maintenance support for Bayu-Undan,” said John Smith, Clough CEO.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Clough AMEC today announced that Clough AMEC and Woodside Energy Ltd (Woodside) have agreed to enter discussions for the negotiation of a new four year contract for the continued provision of services for delivery of capital work programs for Australian assets operated by Woodside.</p>
<p>The existing three year contract with Woodside for the provision of these services expires in December 2008.</p>
<p>It is anticipated that the new contract will be awarded early in 2009, subject to agreement between Clough AMEC and Woodside, and that works will continue under the existing contract arrangements until that time.</p>
